Decided my car looked too generic, my previous car was a 2010 camaro with stripes. Visited a vinyl shop to black out the middle part of the grill. Had a guy in an IS do a double take when I was in his rear mirror.
Hmmm, I was going for this kinda look. Not too ricey. Thing is it's hard to go back once it's a full blackout. While adding stuff incrementally it's easier.

This is a very nice shot. Looks v-e-r-y good. And I still say these grilles were inspired by blow-up dolls.
I've been wanting to do this but when you get rock chips you're going to have white (silver) spots everywhere on it and u can't just touch it up with a black paint. That's the bad thing about wraps and plastidips, you'll have to replace the whole thing. lol
Ps: I hate the front license bracket too. But with the cops around CA it's not worth the trouble.
My first mod was $90 too! Except I had the same problem a you, and I opted to be a little different...Just couldn't justify covering up the most beautiful feature of the car IMO...

Is your license plate screwed to the bumper or mounted with tow hook mount?
