Default What made you get the GS?

for me, since the first time i saw it, i fell in love with this angle of the car. i was thinking of en e class o r 5 series or even an a6, but can't get over this angle of the car. i obviously love the rest of the car too, but something about the sharp edges of the front end.

I got the GS350 F-sport because it was the best handling car in the segment. The ride with the drive control, minimal body roll, excellent brakes along with the sporty interior was a no-brainer. I wanted the best sports sedan and a reliable one and the GS took it all and shows it. I liked the edgy design and the new facia.

I was a previous owner of a 2006 GS300 awd and went for the 2011 BMW 535i xdrive in 2011. I traded that boring BMW in for this GS last year. The BMW lost the boat here big time. It is overweight, sluggish, numb, excessive body roll and devoid of soul. The Lexus GS pretty much puts the BMW 5 to shame. I had numerous issues with the BMW and could not wait to get out of it. Luckily the GS F-sport came in time and it was my savior!

Pics of the GS350 F-Sport today with the new forged 19 inch rims I put on few days ago.

Love the aggressive look, and the way it drives! The rest is not important

My wife.

Actually it came down to the Jaguar XF and the GS350. The GS was the clear winner for her. It was more of a toss up for me, but I was easily convinced with the overall value and brand reputation for reliability, not to mention the rapid depreciation of the Jag.

I always wanted Lexus build quality and reliability, but sided with my heart and bought bmw for performance, looks and road feel.

The GS350 fsport finally ticked all those boxes for me. I looked at 535i and A6 too, GS350 drove better, looked better (in fsport gear) and most important felt better. Oh and it was less expensive!

I needed something more practical than my S5 Cabriolet. I thought about trading for an A6 or A7, but the interiors just didn't do it for me. Too busy yet conservative. I had owned Lexuses before but was bored with the way they drove. I decided to check out the GS F Sport after reading positive reviews and was really impressed. I love the power, the handling, the sound it makes when you put your foot in it, the chiseled looks and especially the beautiful interior. My interior is Cabernet and I never get tired of admiring it. The aluminum especially looks great at night.

The car just does everything well. IMO, no competition from the others.

And Rex, I also like the new rims!

I can't offer up anything different to what everyone else said above, other than I totally agree and those were my reasons as well. I really do enjoy this car a lot.

I like it so much that I'm willing to invest a little more cash for tint and the spoiler that is getting installed on Monday, and just last night I bought the same wheels as Rex did above. Those come next week! The wait is killing me already...

Oh yeah, I'm in on the RS*R group buy for springs too!

I purchased the GS 350 mostly because of the interior, although the exterior styling some part I really loved the interior. Coming from a 3GS I can say the difference inside was huge almost night and day, every day I grow closer and closer to this car. The Hp was my problem but I love this car.
