Has anyone successfully replaced the fog light bulbs on a GS 350 (non-F Sport)? The instructions found on the manual concerning the correct movement of the fender liner, once the associated clips are removed, are vague. Any insight would be appreciated.
yep , u can do it the way Joe says it, or u take the 2 fender clips out and one screw out from the bottom and roll the cover out, and ur in.its a H11 bulb by the way if u want to know. good luck.
Quick question-I noticed that the headlight color and the foglight color is different-the headlights are more pure white and the fog lights are more of a yellow color. Are the fog lights more effective in that color? I was thinking of changing the fog lights to match the headlights-if so, what color (k) would I use? Also, is it as easy as just getting the appropriate bulb in the appropriate color or do I need to get a kit with ballasts? Any input and help would be much appreciated-thanks so much.
Headlights are HID (4300K), whereas the fog lights are halogen. You can try to buy 4300K halogen bulbs, but it still will not look the same. Your best bet is to do an HID conversion kit on the fog lights, using 4300K bulbs. Good luck.

Short answer : yellow doesn't have any advantage in fog.
yep... what makes a fog light a fog light is the fact that it should have a wide beam pattern up to 120 degrees, and it should have a sharp cut off at the top.
We can see in foggy roads by lighting up the road that is under the fog. The fog light should illiuminate as little of the fog as possible (to avoid glare). Regular headlights will simply produce glare by bouncing off the water droplets in the fog.
The color of the light (yellow vs white) really doesn't do anything.

What is a better option? Using 4.3K LEDs or HID kit?
One of the guys I work with says to change the headlight bulbs to 6K and match with 6K LEDS.
