Default Puddle mirror light

Anyone try to replaced the puddle light inside mirror housing yet? How you open the mirror cover to access the light bulb?

It's fairly easy to replace the visor/trunk/door light with led but the mirror housing seem tough to open.

Thanks for the input.

Basically I use a Swiss army knife slide in the gap between the len housing and the door panel, top side. Gently fry it out. It will come off easily. Remove the wire socket then you got the little housing. Then you can remove the back cover, change to LED bulb (5-SMD led will fit nicely).
I also replaced the sun visor bulb to LED. I used 12-smd LED panel on this one.
The trunk can you 24-smd LED for max brightness.
I figured out the puddle mirror bulb but have to wait for order LED (flank type). The mirror can be pull out then you go from there.

All the LED I ordered thought ebay, 5050 type warm white color so it'll match stock color but will give you much more bright.

Default 4GS door courtesy Led

I just change the door LED to 12 LED panel. Super bright compare to stock bulb.

Here all the pix visor mirror LED & trunk LED.

I put 2-15 LED panel to trunk housing.

Default How to fry off door light housing

Use a sharp knife slide in between the cover and door panel and pull it out. Very easy.

I thought all the lights in the car were LED's except for trunk, mirror and vanity. Oh well here is the link, you should have scrolled down its on the first page.
