What's the nominal voltage right now as the car is just sitting there, I ask this because sometimes we overlook the basic things like voltage/grounds wiring associated with the problem and that can take you places you don't wanna go like watching videos on YouTube.

If you don't have a meter you can probably find it with your code reader.

This. 99% of the time here this has been the problem, or the battery. Chewed up wires.

Also did you have the battery load tested, simulating current/amp draw starts?

Battery is around reading just below 12v on the multimeter. I'm thinking the issue is chewed up wires but I'm just unable to find any.

If your battery is under 12v that's at best about 40% charged, have you tried to get a boost? somewhere in the 11.x range your electronics are going to start doing weird things lke setting codes etc.

12v does Not mean anything on mm. You need to simulate cranking on a load test. Take it out to Auto Zone or some where and ask them to test for you. 12v's does not mean it's ok to start and use.

Buy a new battery and try again. I can almost guarantee your battery is either bad, or not charged.

A Cold 12v showing battery can pull down to 8v turning over to start and not crank, especially a V8 heavily electrical power drawing equipped car like the GS F. Once the battery is known good then look at wires and other. Those new battery sit and discharge. Also sure it's the correct CCA Rated Battery?

It may not be the battery but, I would be sure 1st. Then look for other.

I can also say there have been very expensive repairs required on a few IS Fs where the battery was low and the owners tried to start them. Hopefully it's not as big a problem with the GS F, but I have been contacted a few times by IS F owners who ended up spending $3k - $5k on ECUs to get their cars working again after a bad battery event.

Good point I forgot about this IS F issue. I had heard about this some years back.

Still the 1st thing I think is to see that the new battery is not pulling down on a load start test. Lots of cars will blow the horn, light on and other, showing 12v's, but click and not turn to start with a thought to be good battery that's not.
