Default Need help with GSF purchase

Is there any way to know if a vehicle was a lexus performance car that was beat on?

The carfax looks like it wasn't registered until it had 7k miles.

any help is appreciated !

Who’s selling the vehicle? Lexus dealership? Can they not look up? Even if the car was used as LPC, I’d think it had to be registered initially to Lexus Corporate. You couldn’t drive the car for 7k miles without proper registration let alone any insurance. If it’s through private sale or non-Lexus dealership, I’d log your car on Lexus driver website and see if it gives you different info.

Thanks for the reply. The car is for sale at a non-Lexus dealer. They have no information. According to Lexus records, and carfax, the car was sold "new" with 7,100 miles which was 9-months after the new car warranty started. The car is a 2020 for what it's worth.

Is this a red flag that it could've been a LPC?

7100 miles is a lot but I have seen this situation before. Typically the dealer's owner or one of the GMs will essentially use it as a dealer demo in which they use dealer plates and the dealer's insurance to drive it around for a certain period of time. And after they're done with it they sell it as a dealer demo, typically slightly discounted. But if there is no service record either until 7100 its a little alarming since an oil change should've been done around 5000 miles.

Join Lexus Drivers and input the VIN#. It shows the maintenance records and you’ll be able to see the tell tale signs. Replacing pads and rotors and rear tires at 1000 miles is a telltale sign.

Would you be able to call the lexus dealer where it was serviced and ask the service advisor about any red flags or about it’s service history. (Call the dealer where it was sold and serviced at 7k miles)

Call up Lexus of Edison and ask about the vehicle. It’s likely the vehicle has been used by one of the executives then sold as new.
looks like someone bought the vehicle and only drove it for 1500miles and didn’t like it much and traded it in for a Porsche.

THIS ! During my exhausted search I ran the VIN through this site on every prospective car. Most of the Lexus Performance cars were registered in Missouri. New pads, rotors, tires in the first 1,000 miles and were serviced at Lexus locations near the performance events.
