Does anyone know if the MPC remote start for the GS350 will work on the GSF?

It was the EXACT same Directed DB3 module that I bought from them for my wife's 2018 NX. Installed it, programmed it and it works fine for remote starting. They still haven't updated their site to reflect that it will work on ALL RCF models..

I didn't want to spend another $300 for a remote start for my ct200h. So, I simply bought a Directed db3 module ($70), bought a t-harness ($20) then tapped three wires from the db3 wiring harness to the T-harness. Everything is plug and play. Boom. remote start on the CT.

I'd say if you don't want to "test" it out and drop $300 for their kit, do what I did with my CT. Worst case you are out $100 and then can sell it back to someone for exactly what you paid.

I can't imagine that it wouldn't work on a GSF... makes no sense why it wouldn't. It's the same module. Almost any remote start kit out there is using a Directed DB3 module. The car is push start, and it's the same t-harness throughout most lexus models. You are paying for the convenience of having someone else solder 3 wires to a t-harness and wrapping it for you. When you realize how easy it is to do, it a shame that places are charging a 200-300% markup on such a cheap item...

If it’s the one that state it’s for a 13-15 MY then no. Can only confirm that the 12voltsolution works.

Question for those that have the start-up option (or module) installed:

Does the AC automatically run with the start up? Or does it have to be left on when you last turned the ignition off?

I know on most cars now it'll either run the heater or AC based on ambient temperature. The AC running would be my motivation to get this during the summer months here.

Depends on what setting you have it on before the car is turned off. For summer, I leave the AC on low and highest fan speed so when I get into the car its cooled off.

Apparently it's a known issue but it the video wasn't in the trouble shooting link.
thank you xsv your post saved me a lot of time with my install.

I just ordered the kit and I was wondering how is it working for people who installed the remote start on their cars. I’m just worried about messing anything else up. TIA

See my post about the updating the Telematic Unit for 16 and 17 model years which will allow you to connect to the GSF once again via the Lexus App and remote start option.

does the engine shut off when you open the door, or does the engine stay running?
