I'm going for function ..lol. reached out to Klaus Composites in Virginia to make my wing. Very happy with the final product. It's mocked up for the pic.

I have to agree with one of the previous comments. You're going to take a $3,000+ OEM carbon fiber wing and replace it with a $30 fake CF wing? lol. No joke - are you trolling?

No the RC-F wing isn't that comically big and has the 2 central mounting points not 4:

Wasn't thinking of actually putting that Ali special on, just giving people an idea of what I was talking about and hoping people might be able to give me options.

If you get the boot repaired, couldn't you just put an ISF one on like above? They are the same pretty much width wise right?

I never heard of car enthusiasts that actually track their cars refer to it as comically big. But hey free world ..

There is no OEM CF GSF wing, there is a OEM CF GSF spoiler though...

And it looks like it just goes over it not replace?

No, Klaus Composites makes a road race wing for the RC-F that provides functional downforce:

From what you've posted, it sounds like you want something akin to a V8 Supercars wing. I personally don't think it flows with the long lines of the car, but you are allowed to want what you want.

Unfortunately, nobody makes a molded composite wing like that for the GS, as the current trend in Japan and the US for sedans is subtle lip spoilers, with large wings/spoilers for coupes. It looks like your only choice will be bolt a universal wing to your decklid. However, you should be warned that, at speed, such a wing may cause your decklid to dent, crease, or buckle. Cars that have tall wings from the factory typically have reinforcements inside the trunk to ensure that the downforce is supported by the chassis, not by a soft body panel.

Good to know, definitely going to modify it a lot. I guess I can just get it reinforced.

Probably racing paint job, exhaust, wing, body kit. What options are there for a bonnet flair?

I think this is just a mismatch in demographic. Most people who buy GSFs have had their fun cars and are looking for something more complete and holistic. Thus you'll always get more resistance when you deviate from stock, especially on something considered "ricey".

I would go with the RCF wing. Good luck finding dimensions to see if it'll match though. I doubt you'd be able to find an RCF track edition unless you went to a meet and someone had it. No dealership would let you take measurements like that on their floor.

I think the trend today is duckbill spoilers.

Not a fan at all of the duckbill spoilers.

Think I might just go for a RCF spoiler, need something to go with the super charged GSF

Anyone know of a time frame for the second company to bring out a super charger for the GSF?

Dude I am also one not to follow "the pack". Totally agree the GS-F would look sportier with a wing. The Sard does look great IMO.
