2020 GS F here. I noticed there is a spot for a switch that I don't have. I've searched around for photos of others' cars but no one seems to have a photo of this area. Maybe because it's hidden under the armrest? In any event, I would love to know what option/switch is supposed to be here; I thought I ordered all available options at time of purchase. Thanks.

 

Rear motorized sunshade is missing from US GSFs.

 

I haven't seen it in person on other models and Google is not being helpful. Is it something practical to consider trying to get installed after the fact?

 

I had it on my GS350 F-Sport. It’s very practical but I’m not interested to have it installed on the GSF. Some owners have fitted this option into their US spec GSF. A dark tint should suffice.

 

Had it on my GS 350; definitely miss it here in FL. Especially since my car is parked outside.

 

It works well in sunny places. I live in the Middle East, and I have it on my car. My car also came with shades for the back passenger windows too, but they are manual.
They work well in keeping the car's back seat from fading and cracking due to the sun, though I do also have tint on the car.
You can do without it if you have good quality tint, but it is nice to have all the options on the car.

Thanks for all the input, guys. I am also in FL so I think I will contact the dealer to see if they have any way of installing it. I will let you all know what I find.
