Default Future of GSF ?

Hi ,

I currently am leasing a 2016 GSF . My lease ends in 1 year from now. I am hearing a lot of different rumors in regards to the gsf. I have heard that 2019 is the last year of production for the GSF. I am just trying to get ahead a little bit. I really love the GSF and I am already starting to think about my next lease which would be a GSF, if they were still available. Or maybe buying out my GSF at the end of the lease.

just wondering if anybody knew the future of the GSF, and if the GSF is discontinued, what “ F” cars will be there to choose from ?

ok. Thank you very much !

maybe I squeeze another lease out. That’s great news. Although I wish they would not discontinue it , I think it’s a great sports sedan.

My buddy who works at Lexus told me that 2019 is the last year for the GS F and that whatever is left in 2020 will be it.

Yes, I was on the phone with him over the weekend since I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a GS F. Wanted to talk to him about things and this is what I was told. Having said that, he just started with Lexus about a month ago, but heard this news from their regional manager. Previously he worked for Mercedes for 15 years. He has always seemed to have pretty accurate intel on things...

Sorry, I didn't hit the quote button. Lexus dealer, that had their regional manager there. The regional manager was driving a white GS F and I was told that he was quite an enthusiast and sad to tell the news to everyone there.

I heard the same from a gen manager, but then a different gen manager said he didn't know. So unless it comes out of TMC I wouldnt trust what they say. The dealer where I bought mine said they didnt expect it to go anywhere since they were getting 2019s. I guess at this time its a lot of white noise.

This is no surprise they are chopping it. The car isn't selling because it's overpriced and underfeatured for the category.
