Best wheel offset
I have:
FRONT = 20" x 9.5" (+40mm offset) on 265/30 ZR 20, Pilot Sport 4S.
REAR = 20" x 10" (+30mm offset) on 285/30 ZR 20, Pilot Sport Cup 2.
I suppose that depending on how technical you want to get, there is a lot into this subject.

will a +29 in front and a +32 rear work thanks
I'll know next week... With an 11mm spacer in the front I'll end up right at +29; rear will be +30. I don't see how your numbers will not work provided you are not lowering the car. I'm not lowering mine... still breaking in that thing.
Indeed there is. The first question to answer is do you want visual performance or mechanical performance. If you just want "flush" run whatever looks good and deal with the mechanical performance compromises. Odds are very good measured performance will suffer.
I've been meaning to answer your last post of this thread lubuxracer… I agree with you regarding the mechanical compromises that one will inevitable takes if one goes for looks only, or too much in that direction. I ended up not going with any spacer on the front (or back) and just got a wheel that had a reasonable positive offset that I carefully chose to "offset" somewhat the effects of increasing the widths of the tires, front and back. So, I increased the tire width 10mm front and back, to accommodate 20" wheels and still left the wheels reasonable close to the original OEM nominal offset position. The outside diameter of the new setup remained the same as OEM which is very important for maintaining gear ratios efficiency from the transmission.
By not having a verified OEM wheel offset setting, it was difficult to estimate what offset to get on the new wheels. I wanted to increase very slightly the scrub radius and at the end, it worked out that way. Very happy with the set up.

Not yet... The front is 100% free from any issues and after close inspection I can not see a scenario where there will be any rubbing. Last test for that will be autocrossing this thing which I should do in the next few months. There, you'll get higher loads at very high angles of steering so if there was a problem at the limits, it should show up there... I doubt it. The back seems very, very close however. I jacked the car from the rear suspension to collapse the shock and it was really close. Wonder if the right test for that would be to get a bunch of fat people on the back and go crazy on some cheap autocross mall course and call it good.

any long term updates? I’m looking to run some vossens with similar specs. 20x9+32 255/35 in the front and 20x10+45 285/30 in the rear
No issues whatsoever even though I no longer run the tire/size combination that I mentioned previously on this thread. To give you an idea of just how safe you should be with the numbers you mentioned above, I currently run in the front, the size that you want to use in the rear... In the rear, I run 315/30 ZR-20. So, provided that you don't add spacers or lower the car, you'll be fine. Who knows, there might still be some mm available here and there to entertain those two further modifications, but because I haven't done so in my car, I cannot comment on them from the point of view of experience. I hope this helps.
