Default Found a use for ECO mode

Well.... never really thought I would use ECO mode much....
But it came in handy recently,....

Being in South Florida, with Hurricane Irma bearing down on us..
Fuel is a must have commodity.....
You must conserve what you have, as you don't know when you can get more....
The gas lines before the storm were 30-40 cars long.....everywhere...

Able to finally get gas at 1am last Wednesday night..... with a minimal wait...

So I set it to ECO mode and used it like that for over 3/4 of the tank.....

Overall, for the tankful, I got about 22.8 mpg......
This is mixed highway and city....

The management at my work arranged for a fuel truck to come to work for the employees to use, as we are essential employees....
It was only regular gas however....
I am now able to get the premium with no more long lines... so I didn't need that.,...

So..... back to Sport S mode......

Good to hear the Lexus can be useful during natural disasters!

I trust you have all heard the Tesla S 60 story by now? Same battery as the 75 so Tesla sent the
flash update to unlock the range to aid the getaway trip. Apparently it was a known upgrade to
those that wished to pay all along but was delivered gracias for this (hopefully) one time occurrence.

Yup... to being OK... thanks.....

Got lucky for us as the center was about 90-100 miles west of us...... not good for the west coast of Florida though..

Even being that far from the center, it was still a really bad storm......
Destroyed a fence in my backyard.....many trees and limbs down.......

It was quite the experience....
