Default Roll windows down with keyless entry remote?

On my old 2000 Lexus GS, I could push down the unlock button for a few seconds and the windows would roll down to ventilate the hot heat out from being parked in the sun.

Is there any feature like this with the 2016-2017 GSF? I wish the car had remote start too without having to sign up for the enform service/app.

yes you can roll the windows down with the key fob. Lexus Enform is free for 1 year, and yes it sucks. I am sure you can find aftermarket remote start installs

it has to be programmed by the dealer, and should have been when you bought the car, they should have handed you a 3-4 page form to fill in all the options you wanted activated or deactivated during your "tech" setup session.

if not go back and demand it. . you can also activate it yourself if you purchase the CARISTA app and dongle for the ODBII port.

go to the lexus owners site:

https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lex...ers/home?logIn

log in
go to Manuals and Warranties,

there is a PDF there call LEXUS PERSONALIZED SETTINGS.

it is different for all vehicles, so you need to go to your owners site and look up your make and model, linking mine for the RCF won't be helpful for a GSF owner.

When you use Carista or the the dealer to enable the Remote Window rolldown be sure to also
activate the Driver's Door Lock Cylinder window roll up as well. When leaving the car you glance
back and see the sunroof open or a window cracked a bit. Just put the mechanical key blade
in the driver's door and turn CCW. Any and all windows/sunroof will close without starting the
car...
