Cool TPMS sensors - Good news!

So I swapped my summer wheels back on a few weeks ago and was planning a day to get the TPMS sensors reprogrammed. I fully expected the TPMS light to come on. Well....it did not! Tire pressure showed as ** on all wheels but no trouble light! I drove over 1000 miles with no light coming on before getting them programmed. SO...You MAY be able to get away with running standard valve stems in your winter tires and not have to deal with the TPMS light. I'm pretty confident its not going to come on. Of course, you won't have any TPMS function but you probably don't have to bother with extra sensors in your winter setup

SCORE!!!!

I thought the same but speaking from experience the TPMS light will eventually come on and stay lite.

I thought the GSF had a TPMS setting that could be updated without going to the dealer. It was in the menu settings and I saw it in the manual. Or does it not properly pair the new sensors without a relearn? Which most cars since 2009 do not need a relearn of the sensors.
