You could had free replacement, less friction and performance, brakes under TSB

I thought the TSB only applied to the RCF?

I dont see what's the difference. The RCF and GSF shares almost everything besides the frame, back seat, instrument layouts

I have read on this board that the TSB for brake pads is for both the GSF and RCF and it only makes sense but that said we are talking about Lexus so my comment is reserved.

As to the OP and it being his first post - I have also read on this board that Lexus will replace your brake pads only if you can demonstrate they are squeaking excessively and then they will indeed cover the replacement for a different compound pad. If the OP's brakes were just worn from normal wear and tear, then I do not believe he would be covered.

No expert here but I know everything I read on the Internet has to be true. Especially these days!

Thanks mr2dave. Ill take a video of it next time It starts squeaking to show the dealer. I want to get the brakes and fuel pump TSB's done in one shot. Would like to get this changed to because of the brake dust, way too much dust lol. Yes i know its a performance car etc. but i dont track it, and ill be happier when my wheels stay cleaner longer.
