Low oil warning?
Have any of you received this warning? Is there any instances of these burning oil? I may not be up to date but I wasn't aware the GS F had this ailment. Anyone have to add oil only to add more 500 miles later?
Is this for your IS F?
I had to replace my IS F's oil level sensor because I was having this issue. I tried everything else before replacement, but that's what fixed it for sure. Unless Toyota/Lexus went with a different material for the float in the later model engines, I suspect this will be a somewhat common failure item. Mine was 18 years and 230k miles old when it started. Very annoying!

It is for my GS F but I have seen most of the issues the ls460 and IS F manifest later on in the GS F. It wouldn't surprise me if you were spot on with this diagnosis. My garage floor and undercarriage and everywhere I could see in the day and with a flashlight do not show any oil leakage and my exhaust isn't showing blue or really any color. I don't think I've been privy to any posts talking about faulty valve seals either.
Thank you for sharing your experience about this issue.

The wife's GS F flashed one time, but I had just done an oil change and hadn't properly topped it off. After I added a quart, everything was fine until the next oil change at 5k.
I agree with you about the "transfer" because this particular part is common to all the 2UR engines. ChatGPT said there are a number of forums where this problem has been identified and discussed. The only thing making any sense with this is oil being absorbed by the float itself, and the float isn't available as a separate part.
