Default Bumper Plugs for License Plate Holes

Anyone using them? I've got left with 4 holes in the front bumper from a previous owner... I was about to pull a trigger on www.bumperplugs.com but wanted to check in with the fellow CL members before doing so.. Any feedback on bumperplugs.com or anyone currently using them? A picture would be nice!

Nice job on the touch up paint. I assume you had to make the holes bigger to get those boys in there?

Lowes has little packs of these black plastic tack like plugs in their draws by all the nuts, bolts, etc. That is what I used. I painted them black and they fit perfectly, basically just looks like I have extra sensors up front.

I have some links, they come in a small white bag, they are called Hillman. I have the bag, they come in several different sizes, one of them that is close is H# 881201 also says J3. They are called "push fasteners variable depth GM". They basically look like a larger black tack with a flat head or a short screw with a flat head, they have plastic ridges where you insert them so they stay/lock into place. Go to the section with screws, bolts, nuts, and they should be in a large tray you pull out for plastic automotive plugs/fasteners, they won't be on a visible rack, they will be in a series of trays at Lowes normally underneath the visible screws or in a section of large trays with labels on them you open. Home Depot may have them too.

That's a nice price!! For the cost of touch up paint + bumper plugs for two holes it seems like the cost is negligible enough to just go with bumperplugs.com, but if you need 4 plugs, then this is a great deal. I may do this myself.

I already had touchup paint, my car is black so paint really doesn't need to be a perfect match so it cost me like $1 to fill in those 2 ugly holes, the bumperplugs were just too expensive in my opinion.

I've purchased bumper plugs from them before, its truly nothing more than a painted Hillman fastener. I was pleased with the purchase and would buy from them again. My 06 GS at the time was Matador Red and it was a perfect paint match. I don't have pictures but what they have online is a true representation of what they look like. You won't even notice they are there, like others have said it looks like a small sensor.

Thanks @UDel ! Bought some from the amazon link you posted. Looks like it will work with the smallest front bumper holes. I will update with a result once I get my touch up paint, etc.

Nice. Hope you end up getting the right size doing it kind of blind from the pic on Amazon. You might still want to check Lowes because they have a couple different sizes of those plugs in case the ones you ordered are not exactly the size you want, they are really cheap at Lowes so it is not a huge loss if you want to experiment with a different size.

This is another one I think they have at Lowes and one I bought or tried.
Amazon Amazon

I received the part from Amazon and the circle is way too big and the stick area is just way 2 long.. (thats what she said). I'm gonna have to go make a trip to Lowes!

I was afraid that might happen, I was hoping you did not already order them from Amazon because they may not be the right size and could just go to Lowes first to check the different sizes as there are several different sizes and some are too big. I think I had to do a little sanding on them though I don't think I had to trim the stick. Remember that at most Lowes they will be in these big metal trays you pull out and not hanging in view, I missed them at first and had to ask around for the type of part I was looking for. I don't know if Home Depot has them, they might.
