A question about mileage
Hello fellow GS 350 owners. I have a 2015 GS 350 F Sport AWD. I've had this gem for a total of about 840 miles. I would not say I drive stop and go but characterize most of my driving as suburban. Twice I've taken half-hour drives on the highway, never breaking 80 mph. My mileage has never been better than 18.5. Do you fine folks have insight or can you share the kind of mileage you're getting? Many thanks.

Wonder why it varies so much
It's 18.5 right now based on what the display says. A little disappointing.16.9 is WAY below what they claim. I'll be interested to see how it does on a longer highway run. SUVs get this type of mileage.

Pole Position
Mine varies but it's always been above 23mpg. The last fill up I got 389miles out of a tank and averaged 24.1mpg in normal and a little bit of sport mode. 55% city/ 45% highway.

does anyone else think that the Miles til empty reading is way too conservative. at an 1/8th of fuel it only says I have around 15 miles to go! Heck even in my WRX an 1/8th of fuel meant 30-40 miles.

your car is new still so that can be part of it and it is AWD. AWD will be less fuel efficient compared to the RWD model, you should see 20's once the motor is broken in.

I was in Vegas last month and we drove home to LA just after midnight. Cruise control set at 76 miles per hour on Eco mode and did not touch the brakes until we reached Food Inspection at Yermo so that's about 130-135 miles. My average for that 135 miles was about only 26-27 miles per gallon. I was hoping I'd go over 30 mpg. My average: 70% city and 30% freeway is only about 17 mpg.

I was able to get 29 mpg on several tanks of gas on my last highway trip. I have a heavy foot, and was cruising a little over 80 mph. On my trip, I ended up filling up at a convenience store that only had 89 octane gas. My mileage dropped to about 25 mpg. I try to only buy tier 1 gas, and 93 octane.
Driving a combined 70% highway and 30% city daily commute, I get around 22 -23. My gas mileage seemed to improve as my car got broke in, but I made a commitment after getting some bad gas to only buy tier 1 fuel. The 93 octane may be the reason I am getting better fuel economy.
I have 8K miles on my 2015 RWD, and I drive it a lot harder now that it is broke in. It seems to drive better if I push it a little! I could probably get the rated mpg all the time if I drove it nicer, but gas is cheap right now!
