Default Trying to remove ECU

Hello all,
really struggling with removing the ECU right now. Can’t for the life of me seem to remove the Junction at the top that blocks my ability to unscrew the other side of ECU. Any ideas?

You trying to get the numbers of the ECU for the D3 Performance Tune? Ask CL member @Nunz. He has done it 2x's I think. I looked at it one time and did not want the headache to figure it out. I'll text him to post.

It took me a long time to figure out how to remove that damn clip & after numerous hours I found some CL/ tutorial vids on it.

On the side of that clear clip towards the engine, you need to jam a flat nose screwdriver or something to unhook the clear piece from the housing it is attached to. It’s a massive pain man. I’ll try to find the resources I used which may be able to better describe it

So that clip your talking about has been giving me extensive trouble. I tried jamming it with a flat head and that has only resulted in the clip slowly chipping. I'll send more pictures tomorrow, but I'm referring to the black clip to the right of the wire junction, to the right of the white plastic one. Is this the correct clip I need to get to access the ECU?
