When I am in drive, there is a vibration noise that seems to be coming from near the glove compartment. I've tried pushing up on the door of the glove compartment while driving, but the vibration noise, though quieter, is still there. I've installed sound insulation foam behind the plastic piece that is underneath the glove compartment door. However, that did not help the vibration noise. Any idea as to what might be causing it and what I can do to stop it? Thanks.
I’m right here battling the same demon, mines a clicking noise that happens whenever the weight of the car is changed on the road. A few guys found broken spot welds behind the fender, but the body shop I took my car to said it wasn’t that. Im not sure if they missed it or what.
I’ve been taking things apart shoving foam and felt in places behind the dash. Let me know if you figure it out? From my conclusion, I believe the dash has to come out for a fix. Would be nice to have someone with a specific fix for this so we all know what needs to be done. I managed to make it quieter by removing the passenger dash speaker cover, and putting foam in the hollow areas. Can still hear it, not as bad. Definitely sounds like something loose, what a pain to find though.
put your finger on the clock glass while you drive and see if it stops. That may be your issue if it is a light vibration or sort of humming noise if you will.
I had this annoying rattle which I thought was coming from the glovebox / windshield area. However, after some googling, it turned out that it wasn't inside the car but a loose battery under the hood. You might have to tighten the screw / bolt on the battery bracket. Give that a shot and see how it goes.

Push upper left top of glove box where it closes when you hear it and see if it stops. Also the panel that the clock is on. Is it kinda a Buzzzzz noise?
I have found the source of the rattling! It's the "door cover" of the cupholder. When it's in the up position, it causes the vibration noise. I'm not sure what to do about it yet since I like to keep that cover open, but I'm sure glad to know what's been making the infernal noise.

sounds like you fixed it, but for anyone else/future reference I had a NASTY rattle in this area that I finally fixed with a hose clamp around the two metal HVAC lines under the passenger side dash. The ones that get really hot. I don’t know exactly what was rattling, but that’s what fixed it.
