Alright, this is what I'm seeing, no compass. Both with no seatbelt and nav set at full screen before putting in R. I always set my map to full screen anyway.

Try this:

Go into full screen map mode.
On the right hand side, click the navigation icon.
Place your cursor on the right hand screen and you should have arrows pop up at the top to scroll left and right. Scroll to see the compass.
Now go back into the full screen.
Place car in reverse, and you should see the compass/coordinates on the right.

At least, that's how it works on mine.

Default GS 350 Reversing Camera and Compass Views

Here are a couple shots of the Reversing Camera and Compass, one has a destination entered and the other does not.
Note: When looking at the Navigation screen open the Destination box at the bottom. Check at the top for "Delete Destination".
It is awkwardly phrased but it says, would you like to Delete your Destination? Since you spent some time and effort to enter the
destination it would seem that you would not want to delete it, right? Should be written, do you want to delete the Route?
The answer should be Yes, delete the route. Now the Compass Bearing Point will vanish.

Just when I thought I know everything about my car, I'm still learning something new about it every day!

I don't have a destination entered (they are always deleted), but I still have the red target dot, which I don't know why or what it is suppose to indicate.

I thought they all had the Lexus Park Assist screen on right with the car and the Yellow bars always when in reverse showing the backup camera?

The Reversing Guide Lines can be configured three ways, single red clearance line,
static blue reference lines or the dynamic yellow tied to the steering angle. Some models
have an on screen icon in the lower right corner, GS's have the choices in the Vehicle
Customization Menu.
The Park Assist will pop up over the Compass when you are close enough to obstruction.
I had to move the '19 GS in Post #18 to eliminate that useful warning display.
In Post #15 the static screen shot of the video shows six (6) Navigation Options because
that car has a Point B destination programmed. If you open "Edit Destination" and touch
Delete Destination the Navigation Option screen will show the bottom three options grayed
out and unavailable.
