Is there a way to enable an ignition off timer to turn off the headlights/parking lights when not in auto light mode? All of my previous Lexus' have this safeguard to prevent killing the battery when using head/parking light setting during daylight and shutting off the ignition. For instance, using head light setting during daytime rain that are not automatically triggered in auto mode because it is not dark enough, shutting off ignition while absently mindedly ignoring the beep to shut off the lights and running into work or a store only to come back hours later and find a dead battery.

It's all ready enabled, after 15-20 minutes it will shut off anything left on. To test it leave the trunk lid open. Trunk light should be off by the 30 minute mark.

 

It's definitely a setting somewhere. On my 2016, if the headlights are on and it's warning me to turn them off, they still shut off after hit the lock button the second time.

 

The 450h has a low capacity 450cca 12v OEM battery. It doesn't take much to kill it.
