Default Wheels for 2013 GS

Hi folks, I have 2013 RWD BASE GS and I want to get some new wheels for it. I'm currently looking to get 20x8.5 +35mm 245/20/35 +40mm front and 20x10 275/20/30 in the rear. I was just wanting to get some feedback on my fitment choice before I actually order them. Will this run ok without any rubbing or anything? Also do you guys think I'll need to lower to keep it from looking like a 4x4 lol.

These are the wheels:

current car has OEM 18x8 235/45/18:

When you move up to 20's, i think it will look a bit tall - but since its RWD, it might not look terrible as RWD GS's sit a tad lower than AWD. Recent helpful thread on lowering to give you a sense of height differences: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...per-downs.html

Here are a few resources/posts to help you confirm your wheel fitment:

Do Lexus OEM alloy wheels have a zero offset or a 45 mm offset?

45mm offset

Even if the offset is the same depending on the spoke design it has to have enough room to clear the front caliper. I had the 2019+ ES Lux wheels before and needed a 5mm spacer to clear the front caliper. The offset was 45mm and same size 18 x 8.

Would a 5 mm spacer to a wheel with a 45 mm offset make the "total" offset 50 mm?
In other words, the wheels would stick out by 5 mm relative to the OEM wheels?

Wheel sticks out 5mm from hub relative to stock. This decreases the offset to 40mm. No noticeable difference with the spacer because it's small.

Took me a while to picture in my mind.
Finally, I understand.
Compared to original wheel, a new wheel with relatively less offset will stick out more.
A spacer lessens the amount offset to widen the track.

NB
Originally, I kept adding the 5 mm spacer to the hub to understand that the wheels will protrude 5 mm out, but this thinking caused me to confuse positive and negative offset.

Then I thought along the lines that the 5 mm spacer moves the fitting surface of the wheel inwards by 5 mm reducing the original 45 mm positive offset to effectively only a 40 mm offset, and that's when I finally understand.
