Default How do you remove remote touch arm rest/mouse pad?

I ordered carbon fiber interior trim for the center console but noticed it can’t fit unless I remove the armrest and mouse pad first. Here’s a response from the seller but it’s still not clear to me. Any step by steps guides on this?

To remove the mouse/joystick controller, you just need to pull straight up. Re-install by just lining up and pushing straight back down. This is what the controller/***** looks like when off: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post10000630

Its similar with the wrist-rest: You need to pull upward from from the front:

thanks. Seller just got back with me and clarified that I don’t have to remove the armrest/mouse pad but just the long right side panel he circled. I’m assuming it’s just held on by clips for the most part

I actually like the **** for the drive mode selector (mine is scratched a bit and something simple to cover it up would be nice!). I recall this old thread about an aluminum cover but I don't think they have these anymore: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...tch-cover.html

yep, both links are what I bought. Overly expensive with ridiculous shipping prices. The parts I had issues with are the trim that goes over the heated/cool seats area, one side was sloppily cut and also the cupholder lid trim. I installed it to fit perfectly around the chrome button thing and now I can't open/close my cupholders smoothly anymore. Because doing so will cause damage, my cupholder trim started to become damaged so now I just keep the cupholder lid open now. I mentioned this to the seller and of course he never responded
