Default New Battery alternative

The OEM Lexus battery replacement for models GS350 ('07-'18), LS460, LS430, GS300 & GX460 is a series 24 with only 575 CCA. I have found the most powerful replacement is a Series 24F AGM battery from Walmart. It will fit in the battery box and the posts that are reversed can be moved the additional 2 inches to fit. This reasonably priced $150 battery will last at least 5 yrs. with plenty of power to handle all options.

Not to be that guy but...the most powerful one that "fits" is a Group 34 lead-acid battery (800 CCA, ~$100). Its similar in dimensions except its not as tall so you need blocking to use the stock battery hold down - but no need to move cables. Save your money, our cars came with lead-acid from the factory my original (MY2013) lasted until 2 months ago at which point I just replaced it due to time and a slightly longer-than-normal crank time. An AGM isn't going to last that much longer, if anything, the charging system may not take into account its an AGM and shorten the life of the battery by overcharging it.

A Lexus alternator will never over-charge a battery.
