Anybody else have a lifter type knock on the rear drivers side top engine bank? It is a deeper type of knock than the sewing machine type clicking from the fuel pump on the passenger side bank.

 

Get your head out of the engine bay and don't worry haha. If you are really worried, take it to a mechanic you know that is familiar with the GS/Camry motor. Or better, try and catch up with a fellow GS 2GRFSE owner and take a listen.

 

Change the oil & inspect the oil filter unless you have recently.

Just added a little Marvel Mystery oil which seems to have quietened it a little but I still hear that rear drivers side bank. I remember someone saying the oil supply to one of the rear banks was a poor design?
