Default Trans oil level check temperature

Can anyone confirm the correct temp to use for checking the transmission oil level?
The document I seen had 120F - 127F
But in this video at 06:00 mins he has 102F - 120F

For my 2015 6 speed it is 120F - 127F, should be the same for 2013.

The 6 speed is only used in the AWD. 8 speed is rear wheel drive.

Maybe I wasn't clear:
6 speed = AWD = 120F - 127F

You'll do more harm than good if you don't get the transmission fluid level correct. Some people will do a few drain/fills and leave the final one to a professional. I'm at 106k miles on my 2013 GSh with a CVT and I don't plan on ever touching the transmission. I plan on driving to over 232,505 miles. I will report back. Probably the only thing I will touch is the rear diff over 150k miles because it's a easy drain/fill. I trust Lexus and their recommendation to not touch ,my eCVT.

Hold on there Peasodos. What is this rear differential you speak of? To be honest, I could not tell you what a rear differential is or where it is if it fell on my head? Nobody ever talks about this, let alone change any fluids in it. I thought a differential would be just on an AWD model as it is. Always learning something here, I must say.

My own dealership, like the manual and most other dealerships I believe, sticks to the lifetime fluid do not touch it idea. However, I recently came across a dealership saying quite a different story:
Lexus GS 350 transmission fluid changes are exceedingly mandatory to keep your vehicle's transmission cordial and lubricated. If you don't routinely change your fluids at least every 30,000 miles or so, you may find that your Lexus GS 350 transmission will slip.

Everyone can obviously take care of their vehicle how they see fit, but I just thought it was interesting because that's the first I've heard of a dealer recommending it, and every 30k miles at that. But also, take it with a grain of salt because they also recommend flushes when its really dirty (which would be bad) and they to see your manual for exact intervals which seems to be conflicting.

Thats what I thought but obviously one of these temps is wrong and nobody seems to have had a problem.
DIY Dan video used 102F - 120F whilst others used 120F - 127F.

Some service departments are cronies and tend to over recommend service or do it per-maturely, because there is a lot of money to be made at the service department.
Not to mention these so call service advisors get part of their income from commission for service they recommend. It's more dishonesty than anything else, that's why the manufacturer has a schedule in the manual, follow that not the service advisor. It's called the stealership not only for when they sell the car but when they provide service.
