Default Clunk While Tach is Falling

Hey guys!

Thanks in advance for the insight here! So I noticed a weird thing with my car - a 2015 GS350 non-FSport with about 86k that's been meticulously maintained.

I noticed while the tach was falling after being revved to about 3500 RPM or 4k while in park, you can feel a clunk at about 1500 RPM as the engine speed falls and the tachometer needle actually stops briefly at about 1500 RPM and you can definitely feel a clunk. It's really weird. Any ideas? I have a video that shows it but I need to convert it from .mp4. I should mention that I do not typically do this but I had just replaced the battery and wanted to try and get the high and low readings on the various sensors calibrated after the battery install. It's just totally noticeable and seems like something is wrong.

Just hoping it's not a big deal and that it happens on other 4GSs!

Happy Friday and weekend, all!

Stick it on youtube and link it here. Do you have the RWD with 8 speed or AWD with 6 speed? Does it only happen whilst showing off at the lights or when you're actually driving?

Thanks for the response. I have the RWD with the 8-speed and it doesn't seem to happen whilst actually driving - or at least I can't feel the clunk.

Any ideas on this guys? I have about 3 months left on my CPO warranty as well as a 4-year platinum TFS warranty that will kick in afterward. I'm not too worried about it; I'm just curious if anybody's seen this before!

Thanks!

Since it's CPO, maybe have the dealer look at it. I was thinking the engine mounts but I'm not an expert on that.

Sounds like it wants to do it....seems a little digital and exact....like it's meant to.
I find the GS software really buggy, perhaps it's something they left in by mistake
