LX470 low idle after battery jump start help
Hey guys my car been sitting for about 2 months in the garage and the battery has died I jump started it and ever since the idle is at 600rmp and very rough on drive.
I watched a YouTube video where you do a idle reset Procedure but it didn’t work for me
on ,off ,on ,off then start the car put on hand brake and drop it into drive and wait but this didn’t help.
is there a different procedure for the LX470?
please help thank you.
edit: forgot to mention it’s a 2007 LX470

Try testing condition of battery not just charge, as sometimes they will hold correct voltage and mask internal problems. If you can ideally switch it with a known working, or new battery, this should reveal if you need to dig deeper. Batteries cause so many various issues that appear to be other problems on these rigs so always start with the battery and move forward.

Now it’s idling at 600 instead of 650 i think.
