Hi All,
My car is 2016 Gs 350 F sport, and I'm having an issue on my car dashboard. My dashboard is inflated during a hot day and it looks cheap.
Do I have to bring my car to the dealership for them to take a look on my dash?
thanks in advance.

I don't really see what is the problem with your dashboard. Is it sticky and cracked? If so, this is covered under Customer Support Program. Some affected vehicle's Dashboard will crack and/or feel sticky as a result of heat, humidity, and light intensity over time. Bring it to dealer, they should cover this. You should have gotten a letter from Lexus in the mail describing this extended warranty.

There is a bump in his dash maybe the glue holding the fake leather has failed in that spot.

It's a good thing I decided to drive the Sequoia for the next couple of weeks...this thread would have me looking at my dash every time I'm in the car.

I have 103k+ miles, car is always parked outside, sometime 100 degrees, zero dash issues.

Advice from a Texan: If parking outside for long period of time, I would highly recommend the use of a windshield sun shade to help prevent this issue in the future. Also leaving your windows slightly open can help expel the large build up of heat over time within your vehicle.

Overall it will keep your car cooler so that when you jump in and blast the A/C, it will take less time to bring the car down to your ideal temperature.

I purchased the UVS100 for both my GS and RX. It's expensive (there are definitely cheaper options out there), but it's quality material, foldable/easy-to-store, and keeps the vehicle cool. I do intend on tinting my windshield since those work quite well also.

+1 for Covercraft... wished it was a little lighter and flexible, but there's no doubt it's a top quality shade. Seen a couple of other 350s with it in my area as well.

I went to Dealership last week for Dashboard warped inspection. They took some pictures and sent to Lexus coporate. Then the day after the services guy called me and he said that my car is approved for Dashboard replacement.
I’m very happy.

Yes, covercraft.com is the place to get the shade. I paid over $80, but it's the worth the money. Easy to fold and not flimsy either like others had said.
