In my AWD the outer axle boots are that strong plastic type, but the inners seem to be the old rubber ones with signs of decay, ie its becoming hard and not very flexible with micro cracks appearing.
Thinking of changing them as a preventative as Ive heard the axles are not cheap.
Has anyone changed them with the OEM replacement boot kits, and if so what material are they?
