Just traded my 2015 GS in for a 2017 GS F Sport. Atomic silver, Rioja red interior, 12k miles, ML, etc. Loved my 15 GS, but the 17 is like a new car. Going to dig it
I'm sure. BTW, this is my 13th Lexus! Is that a record? Am not a dealer or wheeler/dealer, just change my mind a lot. My secret? I'm old, 73 next month. Think this is my
last one, but said that before.

I did the same thing, went from a 14 to a 16. It felt like a completely new car in a lot of ways, so I know exactly what you mean.

Not sure if I’ll ever hit 13 but I can’t see myself buying anything but a Lexus for awhile, at least not for a daily driver.

Congrats! That’s a ton of Lexus’ What’s the list of all the models and years you’ve owned?

You’re only as old as you feel (and hopefully you’re feeling young).

I’m not a Lexus owner yet, but eyeing a 17 GS F Sport to buy within the next few months and loving all the great support and conversation on the forum.

Congrats! Great choice! I also moved from a pre-refresh to post-refresh. I traded my 15 in for a 19 about a year ago. I feel as though Lexus did not do a very good job in communicating/marketing how much they changed in the refresh. I was quite surprised.

A lot of stuff listed here for the refreshed 2016...but I agree that marketing of the updates was limited at best: https://pressroom.lexus.com/lexus-20...-product-news/

There are small refinements not on that list like the chrome touches on the window controls.

I forgot to add the "Customization Mode" of the Drive Mode Selector.

Do you customize it in the instrument cluster?
Does the **** on the center console say anything other than eco, normal, sport/sport+?

If its in the navigation how do you get to the menu? I retrofitted the 2016 head unit so I wonder if the driver mode customization can be changed.

The labels on the console next to the **** are Eco, Normal, Customization, and SportS/SportS+.

You set the customized mode through the nav display.

It's been awhile since I looked at it. It's under the vehicle settings menu as I recall. I can check later today when I go out to my car.

Also when I switch drive modes it doesn't show it in the 12.3" display only the instrument cluster. I like Better, this way my passengers can't see the drive mode change

Ahh I wonder since I simply retrofitted the 2016 head unit I don't have the drive mode customization since my car is 2013

Hmm...interesting. Mine does show the change of drive modes in the nav display. It's not as detailed a graphic as it was in my 15, but the right 1/3rd of the display momentarily shows the new mode.
