Default Tire size issue

I need help PLEASE! So I had brought 4 19x9.5 so all 4 wheels are the same size (for rotation purposes) the first set of tires I had put on were 235/40/19 (all 4) and my wife kept curbing the wheels. So the second set of tires I put on are (currently still on the car) 275/40/19 (all 4) and are 4 tires rub.

So my question is what size tire will work perfectly? (I’m looking for all 4 same size)

the rears shouldn’t rub with that especially if you’re stock height. the fronts would for sure. you can safely go 245/40/19 all around

Thank you, I was afraid the front was going to be a issue. My car is stock height so you don’t think I could possibly get away with a 255/40/19??

You’d be pushing the front tires with 255/40/19 if you plan on not doing any fender work.

You also gotta be careful of your wheel offsets since you’re going wider than stock up front too. Remember to make sure the wider wheel and offset will fit your wider tires. I think 20x9+32 on 245/35/20 is a really popular aftermarket combination for the fronts. Compare that to your 19x9.5+? on 255/40/19 to see if it’ll fit.

if youre trying to get max sidewall height so your wife will quit damaging the wheels, the best options would be to : teach her how to drive OR stop letting her drive the GS lol.
