Default 19 tires questions

hi,
I just bought 4 used SSR GT3 wheels 19 x 8.5 offset 46. I'm planning on putting on my 2002 LS430 sport package with stock spring setup. What would be recommend size without rubbing. I know 245 35 ZR19 will work with it, but can i get away with more cushy or thicker sideway. Perhaps 245/45R19. I just don't want the ride to be too harsh/firm.

thanks,
Sean

Also check your tires on a tire calculator like http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html .

The stock tire is 245/45R18. A 245/40R19 tire has the same diameter.

for my 05 LS i believe on 19's they recommend like a 245 40 19 so as not to mess up the speedo

this site is my fav, just put in your stock size and then pick some other sizes and it tells you all the stats on it.

I will go with 245/40/19. And thanks for the site recommendations.. that is a cool sites. I like the 1010tire a bit more because you can do multiple tires.

i'll post up pictures once i find some tires.
