The dealer told me that since my 2018 GS350 has green valve caps it means I have Nitrogen filled tires. Do I have to go back to the dealer to get tires filled or topped off or is there another way?

You can just top it off with regular air. I'd probably change the caps since green looks ugly. Just an unnecessary thing the dealer did to get you to go back, then they will suggest other unnecessary things to bill you. The whole point of Nitrogen is psi won't change with the temperature fluctuations, but in reality that's not the case.

If you want to continue using nitrogen you'll have to go where nitrogen is offered, and you'll likely be charged for it. As you probably already know, nitrogen molecules are larger and therefore will not be lost as quickly through the tire's carcass as regular air. But, the reality is - there's not much difference between using nitrogen and regular ol' air.
The regular air we breathe is 78 percent nitrogen and the rest is oxygen. The nitrogen in your tires is never 100%, so if it is say 90% - 95% nitrogen it is only has about 12% - 17% more nitrogen than regular ol' air. That said, most people do not find it worthwhile to use nitrogen in their tires.
Reading this thread just reminded me that I've been wanting to change out the dull silver-grey caps on my GS and replace with black or gunmetal... I'll be checking Amazon tonight!
nitrogen is a scam, easy upcharge for the stealership and hard for anyone to prove they actually use nitrogen. who says they even refill with nitrogen even if you have the nitro caps.

Costco uses the green caps and offers free top offs. Being that normal air is 78% nitrogen, you won't see a huge difference between regular air and nitrogen filled tires. It does help though.
