Default Mark Levinson

Is it just me or does the Mark Levinson stereo when using Satellite sound like crap? Believe it or not the terrestrial radio sounds really good but Satellite sounds like my speakers are blown. It has me thinking since I bought the car used with 8k miles that maybe they are blown or this is the norm? Any EQ settings advice?

Satellite radio sounds way (WAY) better on the standard GS 350 audio system and absolutely terrible on the ML system.

Hmmmm. I am still on my 3 month trial period and think it sounds ok. I actually have not even tried the radio or CD player to any great length. Was thinking of signing on for 12 months for like $60 plus fees just to try it out. Forgot all those 70’s tunes and such. Just my opinion thinking it is ok on volume 20 to 25.

They should do something about it, we are paying $$$$$ here. This is not a free service.

Beat sonic does some media interfaces for Lexus but I'm also wondering on a new processor for better audio quality like Audiocontrol DM-810.

Had SiriusXM for a couple years and dropped it. I couldn't get over how bad it sounded. HD radio sounds worlds better and Bluetooth streaming sounded great also.

I'm not going back to Radio ever! I cant stand the commercials and worth the money I pay for Sirius. I played around with the EQ setting and got it sounding better. But the HD radio sounds incredible.

The Satellite transmission of Sirius XM does not sound great. I tolerate it. However if you really want better sound then you can go with the Sirius XM app on the smart phone and plug it in.

satellite radio bitrate is 64kbps quarter of your apple music bandwidth.

Should be comparable to regular FM
