Default Issues with my GS350, please help.

Hey guys, so I bought a 2015 GS350 Fsport and did not actually take the time to check everything properly before purchase.

Issue 1: One month down the line, I've realised, I cant seem to find out where my TPMS is. It does not show up on the in dash display and does not look too have the option within the main console.

I know I have everything else that comes with the tech and snow package. But for some reason cannot even figure out how to check my TPMS. Is it possible that the car did not come with one? If so, is there a solution to this where it can be added in later.

Issue 2: Does anyone know how to check if my vehicle has a remote starter. The Lexus enform app does not allow me to sign in properly because of my region being Canada, which does not make any sense to me.

Any suggestions on how I can check if my vehicle comes with a TPMS and a Remote Starter. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

you keep pressing the “DISP” button on your steering wheel until the tire pressures come up on the dash, pretty sure its standard equipment

the car does not come with a remote starter as standard equipment.

So I did do that, and it does not show the TPMS. Is it even possible for the car to not have it?

its for 2015+ and only works if you have lexus enform, otherwise you gotta buy a remote starter and get the keychain thingy.

TPMS is standard equipment, can you make a clip of you cycling through it on your dash? do you have the oem wheels installed? could you possibly have different wheels that they didnt install the sensors in?

jfspeed - To display your tire pressures (if equipped) you'll likely need to set up the display, which was not previously set up to display tire pressures.

  1. While the vehicle is stopped, press the “DISP” button until the “Settings” screen appears.
  2. Press and hold the “DISP” button until the screen changes.
  3. Press and hold the “DISP” button after selecting the desired setting item (e.g. tire pressures) by pressing the “DISP” button.
  4. Press and hold the “DISP” button after selecting the desired setting by pressing the “DISP” button. (The display goes back to step 3)
  5. Press and hold the “DISP” button after selecting the “EXIT” by pressing the “DISP” button.(The display goes back to step 1. The display goes back to step 1 automatically in few seconds without proceeding step 5.)

I see his remote has chrome trim around it. Is that something aftermarket? My 18 remote doesn't have the chrome on it.

If there's a case to make the fob bigger, is there a case to make the fob smaller??

You could take the oem black plastic housing off of the fob and just wrap the internal components with tape to essentially create a smaller clear case for the key fob.

My 4GS has TPMS but does not display the pressures anywhere, so it is possible to have TPMS that only displays the orange symbol when they are low. It's up to you to work out which one is flat!

also having a 2015 Canadian model i can confirm the following:
1. TPMS will only give you a warning dash light when pressure in ANY tire is out of range. no reading per tire. it will also trigger if you have winter wheels without sensors
2. no Enform available for this model year in canada. hence you can't register the app. and no remote start

Do you have any idea why vehicles destined for Canada do not have the TPMS individual tire pressure readouts?
