I hit a curb with my brother’s 2013 GS350 and now the tire pressure monitoring system readout in the dash doesn’t work. What could be wrong? Discount tire rotated the tires and can’t find any problem.
Another possibility is somehow the impact caused the TPMS module to get destroyed. This sounds far fetched but possible. I had this happen to one of mine but the tire installer caught it because they thought they might have broken it by accident so they gave me a new TPMS module on that wheel for free.
Finally found a tech that knew something; he flipped a switch under the dash and now it works.
Yes there is a button under the dash to diable TPMS, also AFS if equipped, and one other systems. Great to know if one of my tpms sensors fail I can just disable the whole system instead of staring at warning lights on the dash.

There is not a switch that disables the tpms. Sounds like that was the second set of wheels switch. Either that or the regular tpms reset switch that they should have easily found when they checked out the system the first time
