Default GSF muffler conversion fail..

Sooo... I bought the GSF mufflers. I saw a video of the GSF mufflers with an apexi midpipe and it sounded good and saw a thread on here that said it was straight bolt on, all you needed was to modify the spare wheel well a little to make it fit. Anyways. I got the oem mufflers off, started it to hear what it would sound like without mufflers like everyone would and then I went to put the GSF mufflers on, the GSF mufflers fit in the hangers normally butttt... the GSF mufflers are shorter than GS350 mufflers. Didn’t seem that much of a problem since the rubber hangers are flexible. Went to bolt the mufflers to my joez midpipe, another problem.. the GSF muffler flange is wider than GS350 muffler flange. I managed to bolt the mufflers to the midpipe but only one bolt on each muffler. So it has an exhaust leak basically. I’m gonna go to an exhaust shop tomorrow or soon and have them make me a new flange that will fit the midpipe and modify the pipe to be longer.

I thought it was not a direct bolt on, some 1 here did the conversion and they say you need to go to a muffler shop to do some work to make it fit.

Found a few but..none of these guys said anything about any custom work needed to be done to get the GS F mufflers/rear bumper to fit on a GS350...

Ok.... so I see how to fix the issue of the mufflers being too short, I need the GSF exhaust hangers. BUT, I still don’t see how the GSF mufflers bolted to the midpipe.

Oh yeah, if anyone’s wondering, I didn’t bother to do the whole bumper conversion because I actually like the oval-ish chrome tips we have I just cut off the GSF tips

Went to muffler shop, guy welded the two pipes together, car sounds great, but I had to cut the driver side tips a little more because they were rubbing against the tow hook and shaking the whole car. There is some drone and still some vibration from 1k-2k rpm. I like how it sounds but the drone/vibration is definitely gonna get old. It’s bearable for now and fun to hear but I should get that fixed soon. Also, passenger side muffler hangs really low. Not sure how to fix that other than maybe modifying the hanger or getting GSF hangers. I’ll post a vid to YouTube soon and link it in here. Also will make another video and post when I get my headers installed
