If anyone is able I need some help identifying a suspension component and if it needs to be replaced or not.
I searched through the forums for an answer but as I'm not sure what the piece is called I had a tough time locating an answer.
I was replacing my pads/rotors yesterday and noticed what appeared to be a very worn bushing on the lower control arm. Looking through some parts diagrams i was not able to find this specific piece, and unfortunately, my wheels are back on and I forgot to a take a pic. Hopefully, DIY Dan does not mind that I plucked a frame from one of his videos to show the part. If anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated.

That does look like it. The bolt part of that shaft looks like its just floating in the control arm. I'm shocked to see no bushing but relieved that it hasn't rotted away.
Now that this mystery is solved, I have to now figure out the source of the clunking in the back of the car when pulling away from a stop. At first i thought it was a golf ball rolling around in the spare tire are, but that wasn't the case.
Does it make noise and can you get movement out of it within the lower control arm? The one in the image appears to have a significant amount of fore/aft clearance.
No movement using a moderate amount of force. The photo I included in my original post was not my vehicle, but an image I found to illustrate the component in question. The condition of mine looks pretty similar.

Common clunk that "seems" to come from the back could actually be the moon roof. Changing the seal fixes this problem. There is a pretty long thread about this.
Thanks for that i'll take a look. I dont hear much wind noise from the sunroof but ill move it around and check for any play. The sound i hear most often seems likes its coming from the passenger side rear of the car. I'm almost ready to ride in the trunk while someone drives to isolate it.
Help with Steering/Suspension component.
