Default Summer sales event

Looking at a 2019 GS 350 f sport. Best I seem to be able to get at the moment is 10% off MSRP, $4500 lease cash. Do folks think the summer sales event likely to have more heavy discounting? Anyone recall typical summer sales event deals? Debating whether to wait...

does the 10% include the lease cash? over the last year when i tracked it, lease cash only went up as the year goes on. I would aim for 5k before incentives, but 4.5k for this time of year is better than what they had last year.

no, the 10% is before the lease cash. seems pretty decent deal, although working on the 0.0019 MF, which is outrageous and a deal killer.

I mean, $10K off the price of the car sounds decent to me. They're not making the GS any more, so you better hurry if there's a color or options you want.

Not sure if there is wiggle room on mf but last I heard it was .0007 you we’re aiming for. Otherwise yes seems like a good deal. Only thing you would be concerned about is remaining inventory it you want specific features or color

Is the 0.0007 MF what others have been able to get, regardless of location?

I'd personally be wanting a bigger discount (or free options) on a vehicle which is essentially 7 years old. The BMW 5 series was updated the other year and the Benz not far behind it. I would have thought they'd be having a plate clearance to remove all of their stock.

6 months ago, I got MF of .0008, $5,500 lease cash back and $5,300 dealer discount. .0019 seems REALLY high.

Thanks. He finally came back down to earth with .001. See on Edmunds folks at .0009. Assume your 5500 lease cash, 5300 dealer discount was on an '18 model ?

Yep, purchased in Sep 2018, about a month or two before the 19s hit the lot.

Also, no dealer fee, no add-on products. If you can get the same right now, 10% off along with lease cash and that MF, it might be worth pulling the trigger now.

Thanks, yep. Getting close. I think the fact that it's close to month end/quarter end/toyota fiscal year end might give me some added leverage.

Whaddya think for 2019 GS: 11% of MSRP ($6,164) plus $4,500 lease cash = 19% off. MF with 9 msds of 0.00018....??

as long as it has all the options you want it’s a good deal I’d say. Only thing to make it better is if you don’t need it now, custom order everything you want and then get the increased lease cash later in the year when it arrives and hopefully get the same mf
