Rear tire on my '15 RWD fsport has a slow leak from a nail that cant be replaced so I am needing to replace the tire. Both rears are at 5/32 so I will need to replace the other sooner or later. Question is do I:
A. replace the one tire with a cheapy to hold me over
B. replace both rear tires now
C. ditch the staggered setup and go the same all around
I do a lot of driving for work so tire life is pretty important.

Your rear wheels are bigger than the front on the RWD f sport staggered setup. I don’t think you can do a square setup and rotate the wheels. This is assuming your factory setup is 235/40/19 in the front and 265/35/19 in the rear
I have a squared setup because I wanted more tire life as well as more tire choices. The staggered setup sounds great... but I'm really not sure if there's really any benefits on the street. I would think that you would have to push the card HARD, likely to the point of being unsafe on a public road in order to benefit from having wider tires in the rear.
Since you drive a lot, having 4 of the same seems to make sense since you want to get the most out of each set of tires.
Your RWD F Sport has asymmetric rear alloy wheels and tires.
Therefore, best you just replace the rear tires for now.
To go asymmetric, you would have to purchase two narrower rear alloy wheels, and a set of four tires.

Well then that certainly answers the question...sticking with staggered it is! Been doing a bit more research and thinking I would like to switch to 245 up front and 275 in the rear so my next question is will there be any problems switching to the 275 in the back right now and keeping the stock 235s up front until they need to be replaced?

Your speedo will be off and the traction control might freak out; I wouldn't recommend it, but ask a reputable tire shop, maybe it wont be as big as a deal as I think it will be,
