I don't think it is a common problem at all. But, you'll need a new clock.

It appears the clock's related circuitry is in a sealed case mounted directly behind the clock face. I don't know how difficult it may be to get into the case in order to test/repair/replace component(s) if you were so inclined, but it looks like the black part directly behind the clock bezel just unclips which likely gives access to the crystal oscillator and other related circuitry. I seriously doubt there is an adjustment that can be tweaked...

I looks like a new Lexus Clock P/N#83910-30620 is in the low $200 range for just the part. I suspect it would cost a minimum of a few hundred dollars if Lexus replaced it for you...

You could look for a wrecked GS. Good thing is all models have this clock; I don't know it if need to be "paired" to the car however. I would research that. It most likely does not.

When you say your clock is 30-40 minutes ahead everyday, do you mean you correct the time on it and in less than 24 hours it’ll be off by that much again?

Yes, this is true but only for mechanical watches. This clock is quartz and electrically powered.

Also curious if you don't set it each day, does it just keep adding 30-40 minutes every day, or is this a 1 time thing?

My GS350’s clock is advancing 30 mins overnight. If there is a TSB, can someone point me to it? I’ve found Lexus dealers don’t know “common” problems until you present them with the evidence. I had to argue with one about the snapping sunroof issue and they wanted $2K to do the work until I presented the TSB.

Thanks in advnace

Default Happening to me as well

For the last 4 days, it runs 30mins faster every day. Just read in another thread there that there may be a TSB for the issue

I am also having the fast running clock issue on my 2013 ES300. Can you tell me what TSB is?

Default Clock running slow/fast

Coincidently, Lexus is just changing my clock today. I asked them if they could give me the TSB number and he said he didn't know. It is a well known issue though.
