Hello everyone. I'm in the process of getting my trunk repainted to due to some minor damage that occurred. I can save a lot of money by removing the emblems, chrome trim and spoiler myself before sending it off to the body shop.
Does anyone have knowledge on how the chrome strip that goes above the license plate is removed? And also if the Lexus trunk emblem is just held in place with double-sided tape? Thanks in advance.

Just as an update for everyone. The Lexus emblem and the GS350 emblems are all held in with adhesive and are removed easily with heat and fishing line. The chrome trim above the license plate is part of the whole license plate light and camera assembly and is easily removed when you take off the inner trunk liner. The spoiler is held on with double-sided tape and 2 nuts on both ends, i managed to remove it by using a heat gun and thin plastic scrapers to lift it up slowly as I heated it. The spoiler also has 5 plastic guides that help with re-assembly.
