Default How much did you pay???

Hello everyone,

I’ve been looking to buy a certified pre-owned 2015 gs350 fsport AWD. I checked kbb.com and entered all the information on the cars I’m interested in and compared to what dealers are listing these cars for. Kbb is saying fair purchase price is about 33.5k but I’m not seeing anything listed with low mileage any lower than about 35k. I’m going to check one out at a dealer in the area that has listed it for just under 35k with about 16k miles. I was just wondering what folks on the forums have paid for theirs to get a good idea on what I’m looking to spend. Any help would be greatly appreciated and looking forward to being a part of this forums very soon. Thanks!

Unfortunately I think it's a seller's market right now for what you are looking for, especially if you are only looking local. From what I've seen $31-35k is totally reasonable for super-clean CPO AWD F-Sport. When I was searching, good examples priced in the low 30's (clean, non-fleet/corporate title, no damage) were being sold within 10-30 days after being listed. A couple times I would setup an appointment for a test drive, and the car would already be sold before I could come see it. So I wouldn't expect a lot of wiggle-room on price.

Took me a while, but I was able to find mine (same specs, 32k miles) for $32500. Depending on available inventory, you may need to compromise on the exterior/interior colors or be willing to wait a bit longer to find the right example. Good luck!

I usually price things out on Edmunds and CarGurus and go from there. Easier to negotiate too, if you have a car you want and one close to it at another dealer for less.

Not sure how helpful this is, because mine is a 2013 GS350 AWD with 50k (non f-sport), but I paid $23.5k in June. Out the door was $25k with all taxes, fees, etc... I always negotiate on OTD price if it's at a dealer because otherwise they just tack a bunch of crap on at the end.

I looked at newer/CPO options, but at the end of the day half the reason I am loyal to Lexus is they have so few major issues even past 100k miles, so I figured I'd find a good example of a 2013 and save $10k over going CPO.

A few months back I bought a 2013 F Sport, CPO, with about 57K miles from Putnam Lexus in Redwood City, CA.
Silver/Red. I paid $22,300 I believe.
Love the car; it's perfect.

i got mine for $38k. Lexus CPO 2015 GS350 FSport AWD Crafted Line with 9K miles, almost pristine shape. Tack on a few thousand in taxes, fees, registration and I was closer to 40k. Then paid for 6yr platinum warranty which was 2K more and 1.6K for 6yr windshield/tires/rim/keyfob warranty. That put me at 44k. Then I bought the APR down to 0% and my total came to 59K. Super expensive buy compared to everyone else on these forums but that is what an APR buy down does for people that don't deal with interest. They offered me 3.9% for 6 years, mehhhh. Still would have been cheaper but whatever. I think 35k for you is reasonable as long as it has low mileage and is well taken care of.

Its tough to find a '15 CPO AWD F Sport with low miles for under $30k right now. Best deals I could find within a 75mile radius of NYC:

I'm in the same boat but I'm not ready to buy until the spring at the earliest. That being said, I've been tracking GS's with those same specs and as you found out, F-Sports are slim pickings.Personally, based on the prices I've been seeing, I wouldn't pay more than $34K for a CPO. Some dealers are obviously tacking on their CPO costs to the sticker. Plus, ultra low mileage examples are very rare. If your patient, 2016's are coming off lease next year and the older versions will be even cheaper, obviously.

F sports have a nice price bump in the used market compared to Base model 4GS. I'll be in the same boat in a few months when my WRX lease finally ends. Im considering CPO but I want to stay in the mid $20K if possible for a low mileage GS350 Premium (F sport if possible)

Just picked up 2015 f-sport black on black with 45k RWD for $26,400 wanted the AWD drive the dealer has it listed as AWD drive but it was not. Wife fell in love with it and then did some research and could not find an AWD f-sport for less than 30k and black on black is apparently a unicorn so we decided to just keep the RWD model

2013 GS350 AWD Luxury ML w 72k. Bought in June 2017 for $25k.

Price was high because CarMax, but I couldn't find a Luxury in the colors I wanted anywhere else, and the car was in perfect condition inside and out...except for having endured three Minnesota winters, which as it turns out makes lowering it harder. Despite all of that, I am totally happy with my choice.

Love this car: it's a great sequel to my 2001 GS430. Sometimes the sequels are better.
