As long as the tire is not damaged on its shoulder (outer edge where it rolls into the sidewall) or the damage is not too large (like a cut) there should be no problem with plugging/patching the tire.

As long as the tire is not damaged on its shoulder (outer edge where it rolls into the sidewall) or the damage is not too large (like a cut) there should be no problem with plugging/patching the tire.

Ok, thanks. I should have been more clear in my description but I do know it's not repairable if a nail is near or on the sidewall. I wasn't too sure about the area where the damage is, that's why I'm asking for you guys input.

You're about 2 inches from the sidewall. No problems.
