Default GSF CF Trim

I was going to buy the GSF but bought the GS350 due to the need for AWD (I live in the North East). Lately I have been having this urge to "upgrade" my car for no apparent reason. So user @peasodos sent me a link to buy the GSF carbon fiber trim which I ended up buying in my quest to transform the car to look a bit more like the GSF. Just came in today, haven't had the chance to put it on yet. Looks sick in person.

That’s a modification for the GS, considering they aren’t asking too much for the trim pieces. Maybe I should DM him.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did this cost?

If it's a few hundred, I'd love to do this. If it's closer to the thousands, a bit too much for me haha.

Keep us posted on the install!

$1.4K after coupon. It's a great price considering it is real CF straight from Lexus. And if you bought all these pieces new, you'd have to spend roughly $6K which is insane. All in all a good deal to make a noticeable change in the interior.

The trims are the easiest to do so yes, will do. Will aim for this weekend although I have this weekend reserved for washing and polishing.

The trims usually just pop out right? I remember removing a few myself to replace the leather sleeve around the shifter and on the dash....they also had recommended removing one of the trim panel pieces to do the illuminated sills:

Sweet!
Even the ones on the doors? When I had my door aluminum trims replaced on my 2013 F Sport, the service advisor said that the door panels needs to be removed to install new ones.

Yes you have to remove the door panel, not really hard, three screws and bunch of clips hold it on.Once you remove the screws,(one under the window control switch, one in the door handle(behind plastic cover panel), one under a felt trim in the part you grab to close the door) you yank on the panel from the bottom and it comes off.
Then the trim is screwed in on the back side.

It is 3 screws with a bunch of clips to take off the side of the door. Then unscrew about 9 screws to take off trim. Here is a video .

I also replace the clips, especially if your doing it for the first time, you might break one. Also cheap insurance it will go back together factory tight.
