Can confirm that a new clock spring fixes this issue. Nice cheap fix.

Default Please Help

Did you replace only clock spring Part#8430853010 , without the sensor right?Did you use Origanl Toyota Part or Aftermarket(I see some on Ebay)
I have gs 350 2013 and its a noise too....

Do I have to program computer after I replace it?
one mechanic told me we have to program computer to adjust the new Clock spring to "Zero position" is it true?

You don't have to program anything unless you bugger up the removal of the spring from the steering angle sensor or don't put the steering wheel back on exactly the same way. The clock spring comes with a little clip which is for keeping something in position whilst you work.

You can calibrate zero point if you like but if your rear camera shows your guidelines as being perfectly straight then it's likely fine fine.
