My trunk would make an awful clunking noise, took the liner off and found this motor. My trunk works fine? Outlined are the metal tabs it broke off.

I posted a bit too soon! Its actually my key to unlock trunk, the power wires had me confused.

What was the reason for US not having the auto trunk? Was it an after thought during CAN production? Jus curious

 

US just seems to get shafted with packaging options.
