Follow up: You can buy a GS 2015 non CPO from most 3rd party dealers in Dallas with as low as 15k miles on it for 33K (non F Sport). Is this a reasonable price being that the vehicle isn't CPO? I have attached the link below to one of the 3rd parties that's pretty popular around DFW

It actually flooded at a few area last week due to heavy storm and rain in the past month. Some resident actually have to evacuate due to a hole at Monticello Dam, Napa.

Yeah, I was just kidding...in response to the 'fake news' comment. I know both northern and southern Cali have received a whole lot of rain with lots of damaging flooding.

I'm too **** to buy a car sight unseen. I bought my '14 CPO at my nearest dealer (55 miles) on a rainy day. I had them pull it inside, put on a lift to inspect the underside for any issues. After they set it down I walked around the car looking for any glaring flaws (although the car was still wet from the test drive in the rain, big mistake, should have made them wash and dry it). I got the car home and went over it with a fine tooth comb after I gave it a bath. I found various long scratches that had been touched up with a very thin line of paint during the CPO process. It took me days to correct with a razor blade and a Porter Cable DA polisher. Had they just used a polisher to fix the scratches They all would have vanished easily. I guess touching up would have been easier and not required a trip to the body shop. I also found a slight ding between the back door and rear wheel well that our local Dent Wizard said is not repairable. After owning a month I noticed the front passenger seat must have had a small tear that was repaired. I hope the repair holds up.
So, if it were me I would spend the $$$ on a plane ticket and inspect the car thoroughly. Just my 2 cents...

How did you identify that the seat had a tear repair?

While I love the lower price of a well-cared-for used car, I'm not expert in identifying the myriad of things that could be covered up. Some are easier/more obvious than others.
